Bandai Namco announced SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream (SAOFD, 刀剑神域碎梦边境), the first large-scale multiplayer-focused adventure based on the popular Sword Art Online series. The game will be released on October 4, 2024 for the Switch, PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.

We just need to remember, this Strea isn’t from the same sao universe. It’s practically confirmed that the game is set in the Animeverse and not the gameverse. It’s interesting seeing a gameverse interacting with versions of characters from the Animeverse.
