I see some people in the comments saying... imagine hearing this sound at night or while camping? I actually did! Back in 2009 at a camp site called Sandy Creek in Tx, it's hill country so there's a lot of woods out there and it's right off of the lake. My then boyfriend and I along with our little rat terrier dog were camping there one evening and I remember it was after midnight maybe around 1 or 2am when we three were laying inside our tent trying to go to sleep and out of nowhere off in the distance in the direction to where majority of nothing but just woods were located, we hear the loudest, blood curdling, wailing in agony and severe pain type sounding man's voice that I kid you not sounded exactly like if a man was morphing into a werewolf and it lasted well over 12 seconds long consecutively without stopping whatsoever and the ending/finale of it was EXACTLY like this howling sound from this video! That man's wailing turned into howling and then just like that it stopped and we heard absolutely nothing else but silence. We we're so scared and wanted to just get the hell out of there so fast but we were basically parylized frozen in fear and we had a flip phone with no cell service out there which made things even more terrifying! We just layed huddled together in our tent and couldn't sleep a wink while praying and hoping time would fly fast to hit 6am when the sun would start to rise so we could leave. What we heard that late night/early morning back then, I have never heard before in my life nor would ever want to again but there was no mistakeing what it was once you did hear it! No one could ever tell me otherwise, that was a man turning into a werewolf!!

I would be pretty terrified if I heard this kind of howl anywhere at night. Even though I have a fascination with werewolves; I also probably couldn't see myself being a werewolf unless maybe it is proven somewhat livable
