Minecraft but the textures are made of blocks

A resource pack where all the textures are made of smaller blocks. This was made using a program I wrote that iterates through the game textures and replaces each pixel with the texture for the closest matching block, resulting in 256x256 textures.

How to install:
1. Download the zip file for the resource pack
2. Put the zip file inside the "resourcepacks" folder for Minecraft
3. That's it! Have fun :)

I love how at the start it just looks like you are in a really large house made of blocks made of blocks, but then you swap to creative and its like "nope all textures"

This is absolutely insane, I’ve tried it for myself albeit with some lag and almost every small detail has been converted into a texture and done very well, to the point where if you fly a little you can’t tell the difference. Very cool!

I’ve seen packs similar to this but none for 1.17 as of yet, very cool!

this is an interesting aesthetic,
and not obtrusive because the details of the mini blocks are subtle

I actually kinda unironically prefer this for the aesthetic ngl.
Also the Trident looks WAY cooler with this pack, so automatic points for that.
