Championing Gender Equality in Climate Action: The Early Warnings for All Initiative

Women and girls are disproportionately affected by natural disasters worldwide. Yet, they also play a crucial role in disaster response, community resilience, and climate solutions. Women and girls are true agents of change for climate policy and climate action in their communities.

We must ensure that all climate policies are gender responsive and address the needs of women, girls, and marginalised communities.The UN’s Early Warnings for All Initiative is a global effort to ensure everyone is protected from hazardous events by 2027.
