Happy to see Milwaukee still shine. The Gen 3 impact driver by far my favorite out of any of them. Still haven’t tried Gen 4 but I’m sure it’s great. The Flex is what it is. If your driving 3/8 structural lags or large diameter Tapcons all day that don’t require a wrench, both of these will get er done. I drive a lot of #10 3 inch spax or GRK and 1/4 inch Tapcons for concrete forms and I just prefer the Milwaukee. Always nice to have the Surge in the bag as well. Flex tools definitely have my respect as a guy who loves tools. Can’t go wrong with either one✊

I don't know but ever since I tried Flex I was in awe about its capabilities - being a trader that likes the right tool at the right time (I even find wen sanders so satisfying) I'm no fan of a particular brand; so having a new trustworthy brand in the market can only make customers happy!!!

Here I thought my G3 M18 was heavy at 2.2lbs. Idk if I'd want another half a pound for the flex. Its overkill for the woodwork I do, I generally stay in speed 1 lol

they can make flex look as good as they want but I'm still not impressed. I just think its funny how the gen 3 stuff was so great and beating them in some competitions but now people are making it look like milwaukee has practically no chance with the gen 4 which we obviously know has more power. not knocking this or any other channels on here but it's just funny how it's been since it got released.

That release button on the Flex was also on the older Dewalt DCF895.

I do a lot of small hardware like with cabinets and the flex can't really do the detailed stuff le that as well. I've tried many times. Just not the control of the Milwaukee or surge Milwaukee. I do appreciate the power but we need control as well

If you were comparing apples to apples…. Look how big flex is… 24 volt tool vs 20 volt. Yay it can drive faster, but who wants to lug that on their belt all day??? Same with makita xgt 40 volt.

Im mainly a dewalt guy but got the flex quick eject impact with stacked lithium and flex grinder recently. Mainly cuz the grinder is variable speed. The impact is a beast but i didnt realize the quick eject collet isnt quick insert. It really bugs the crap out of me. The "quick eject" doesnt seem like a feature in my opinion its an annoyance. Am i the only 1 that feels this way? O and to even release the bit rarely will jus fall out you have to pull it out. Doesnt seem like quick eject to me
