Panelists Bios:
Joseph Bafumi is an associate professor of government at Dartmouth College. He conducts research in American politics and has published in numerous scholarly journals including the American Political Science Review, Journal of Politics, Political Analysis and Quarterly Journal of Political Science. He has taught courses on voting behavior, public policy and methodology. He has a Ph.D. in Political Science from Columbia University.

Dean Lacy is a Professor of Government and Director of the Program in Politics and Law. His research focuses on American and comparative politics, particularly elections, public opinion, and lawmaking.

Moderator Bio:
Ronald G. Shaiko is a Senior Fellow and the Associate Director for Curricular and Research Programs at the Rockefeller. The 2018-2019 academic year marks his 32th year of university teaching and his 18th year at Dartmouth College. In November of 2007, he received the Linda '82 and Paul Gridley Faculty Fellow Award from the Dean of the College; the award recognizes exemplary faculty involvement outside of the classroom.
