I have curly hair and it is really long and my mum won't let me cut it.
I have done the same thing to my hair but without dying it and my hair looked like a bush -___-

I was the opposite. My hair was really short when I was younger ( I am 17 now) because my mom has curly hair and always had it short. Therefore, she really doesn't know how to care for long hair. When I was 13 I was allowed to grow my hair out longer than the one inch long afro I previously had. Now my hair is down to my belly button and I think my curls maybe a little tighter than yours. Its nice to see someone with hair similar to mine because I can get ideas on how to style my hair.
