“A Moonlight’s Tale” is a 3D animated fairytale that tells the story of The Moon and his personal journey to overcome his fear of rejection, others' prejudices towards him, and fighting for what and who he loves.

I love how Moon's eyes are Golden yellow in color, and Sun's eyes being Silver grey.

I love the concept being that the moon loves sun so much that he would wait until the ball every time and dance with her without worrying about his scars and burns because he loves her so much. His love for her is pure and true. I was literally crying through the whole thing. This is the best short story i’ve ever seen.

I've seen a lot of moon origin stories but this is the first that has brought up an explanation for the craters and marks that we see from the ground. Very creative, I'm impressed.

He burned from her touch yet didn't let go of her hand. In return, she made sure he wouldn't get lost in shadows again.
It was their love that gave him light and scars were just reminders of her presence in his life.
So whenever he healed he waited for another chance, to be burned by his love again.
Where else can you find such love ?

It's so poetic...
I like how the stars were afraid he would hurt her with his darkness.
But instead she hurt him with her light.


And he loved it.

Part of the reason he held on was because when she realized she was hurting him she looked at her own hand in fear of what it had done, and that's the same way he looked at himself.

I have two favorite moments from this short:
The kiss, because I'm a hopeless romantic, (I just wish we were closer to them so I could see it better)
And that moment when the sun realized that she'd burned the moon and almost pulled away from him, but he kept hold of her hand with that smile despite the burns. It was like he was saying, "I've been lonely for so long, spending a dance with you is worth the pain."

For me, the moon at first also thought himself as a devil, hence the silhouette. Because he also pictures himself as one. When he saw The Sun he opened up, no longer wearing the mask.
He became his true self
Not the devil people say he is nor the devil he believed he was
