After visiting three amazing markets in Germany: Berlin, Nuremberg and Munich, we have finally arrived in Prague, Czech Republic! We will show you what 50 US dollars / 50 Euros/ 1200 Czech crowns will get you to eat and drink at this amazing Prague Christmas market!

Love watching you guys. We started watching you with your NYC vids. Great fun to watch. We're back there in July again so always good to get some foodie knowledge pre arrival.

We are doing a Xmas market this year with friends ( no kids ) and this Prague one is our favourite so far. Honey wine sounds perfect 😂

When I go the Xmas markets here in the UK I always take a hip flask of JD Honey and top some in the mulled wine. Try it ! 😬

We normally don't put sauerkraut in our potato pancakes aka bramboráky. Just flour, eggs and lots of garlic and marjoran. Thus apple sauce or sauer cream are not best friends for our bramboráky. :-) Next time try them with that cold sauerkraut and/or smoked ham. Thanks for nice review, happy holidays!

Honeywine / Mead belongs to one of the oldest alcoholic beverages in the world, traces of Mead from 7, 000 BC had been found in China. It later became the staple drink of Germanic tribes and also the medieval Vikings. Glad you obviously enjoyed it!

I see that you have tried honey wine. I don't know if you know, but Poland has been famous since the Middle Ages for drinking honeys and it is produced in Poland to this day. This is a fairly strong drink and the price depends on how many years it is aged. Sweet and I would tie him Hungarian Tokaj.😄

I got the halusky and hot honey mead, so yum! I had the Prague waffle type in Copenhagen, called Pancake Sticks there!

In Germany its called Met ( Honeywine ) . Its made from monks in the middle ages and from the vikings also ...! Have fun and dont eat all the time .

Those potato pancakes go great with mushroom gravy. Polish markets have meatballs in mushroom gravy and these pancakes. They are awesome together dip the pancake in the gravy 😅

Personally, I prefer the small traditional German markets in the countryside, where only products from the surrounding area can be sold. They are more comfortable, the quality of the food and drinks is better, they are usually cheaper, and they are not packed with tourists.
