It’s funny how some people talk about how bad Joe’s character has become compared to the first couple of seasons and then act dumbfounded and upset that Bonnie is frustrated too. She didn’t change until he did. Seasons ago she clearly loved him even when he was disabled but when he became full on “woe is me” and a little “I’m quirky” it became a turn off.

He’s sabotaging their marriage. They don’t really do anything fun or romantic and usually Joe then brings the mood down. That’s suffocating. Their marriage is toxic in different ways as Peter’s. Cleveland has the best marriage and family out of that group. Statistically if the roles were reversed Joe likely would’ve left a disabled Bonnie years ago and the show demonstrated that when he got new legs.

The way I see it, if Joe regains his ability to walk again, then Bonnie won't feel the need to be unfaithful or Mariticidal to Joe.
