The screen is Matte or Glossy? The screen seems taller than the XPS 13, can you see more content on the screen? What about the battery life? how many hours can you get? Does it have coil whine?.

I live in northeast Massachusetts, and I’ve been looking for it (the i7) on the Microsoft website for over a month now and it’s nowhere in all of New England. I mean that’s not as extreme as an 8hr drive across Texas, but, oh well, I’ll just have to settle for it online

I've been refreshing the Microsoft Store online for the past 2 days waiting for one of the FOUR Microsoft retailers around me to stock up, but no dice. At this point, I would ~gladly~ drive 8 hours myself, I'm with you there. [/vent]

My question is - How loud do the fans get on both A.) heavy load (like gaming on low settings) and B.) regular load? For me, the loudness of the fan matters more than how often the fans run. I don't care if the laptop runs hot and the fan needs to be on 24/7 as long as it's quiet. If it's not too much to ask, could I request a dB figure? Even a rough estimate using your phone is fine.
