This album is growing on me which I was not anticipating given the first singles, but I tend to be a sucker for wistful ballads like “Those Were the Days” and “Endgame”, so “All the Flowers” and “Through the Fires” are hitting me

Love love loved this album, as I do all of Olsen’s work. So personal and slow and beautiful. Loved this genre switch, and I usually hate country. Really allowed her to flex her vocal talent.

She is a musical genius, was fortunate to enough to see her play at the Greek Theater this summer… I cried… it was so moving and touching. You need to listen to this record many times to fully understand the differences in tracks, it has layers that need to be pulled away to get the heart.

yeah there's a clear point where Big Time needs something to explode since there's the quality lyrics, the gorgeous Angel Olsen voice but the instrumental could go more further, a great example is the song "Right Now" and "All The Good Times" wich they know where they're going and know when to show all the potential, meanwhile all the tracklist wich are good, maybe coulded be more catchy

Anthony, unironically man, go listen to the guy who produced this album Jonathon Wilson. It’s a shame you didn’t catch his recent album Dixie Blur. It’s a legitimate 10/10

well i surely wouldn’t consider this album to be country, it’s pretty distinctly folk to me. sure, she normally pulls from the folk inspiration more loosely and sparingly, this is more just a directly folk album. but i really don’t see this as a country album at all
