These books are so pristine! I know books are beautiful things to behold and should be valued, but there's something sad about shelves full of books that look unread. When books are battered and bruised it lets me know that they have been loved.

I loved this tour! Such a fascinating collection of books and so artfully arranged. I strongly recommend Joseph Fox Book Shop, which has an amazingly well-curated selection. They're located in Philadelphia but have an online store.

Alice, your book shelves are an absolute delight to behold! Have you ever reviewed the Scandinavian dreams book? Would love to see the inside...it's quite spendy but so gorgeous! I have one white Ikea bookcase...but so many of my poetry books are so old, don't match, look scrappy and messy...what to do?! Very inspiring...I think you missed your calling at interior decorating!

Love your book collection! I know your shelves are from IKEA, however which style are they? I love that they have doors, versus the regular Billy shelves. I'm gonna check them out.
