Pterosaurs are the closest you can get to a dinosaur without being one.

I love that "its not a dinosaur, its a Pterasaur" comment at the end. So many people need to hear that.

Hatzegopteryx is also one of the biggest pterosaurs but the biggest of them all were Quetzalcoatlus! Also I have no clue where the term “Pterodactyl” came from but it’s either from Pteranodon or Pterodactylus.

It is worth noting that pteranodon (either itself or a close relative) population had a lot more females than males, suggesting they may have leaved in polygynous colonies of lots of females and a few dominant males competing with themselves, kinda like sea lions or elephants seals. And idk you but i think being able to know something like this from an extinct animal is just amazing to me

Quet and hatzeg were the coolest. They were the biggest pterosaurs.

When someone says “pterodactyl” a Jurassic 1 m wingspan seabird like late pterosaur with teeth and a semicircular crest called pterodactylus comes to mind.

Could you do a video on Gerrothorax? It's an ancient type of amphibians reaching 1 metre (3 feet) in length. Its one of my favourite prehistoric creatures and would love to see your analysis on it. Love your vids ❤️

Lucky i grew up knowing that this flying animal is PTERANODON. I didn't know the word pterodactyl is actually used to name this up until i am a teen. Also i know it's never a dinosaur since I'm a kid - it's a pterosaur, a flying 'reptile' living along the dinosaurs

I wonder where the term pterodactyl even came from, I grew up calling it a pterodactyl and kept calling it that for so long-

Did you know: the Pterosaurs are not actually dinosaurs, their Flying Reptiles, related to the Dinos, but not actually Dinos, and when he talks about Albatross, he means the aircraft the German Albatross Company produce
