He's actually right. There is no benefit for _any_ NFL player to wear anything other than white cleats. The only lines on the field that can end a play are white. White cleats make it harder to determine if your feet were out of bounds both for refs during live play and for teams to easily see on a re-play view and challenge. You're more likely to be assumed inbounds when it's close. Even on a reviewed play, with white cleats it would be harder establish definitive proof needed to overturn a call. So get white cleats!
