I've read Martin Lings. It's great but I found the sealed nectar is easier to read to a child.

Salaamz! I'm behind on my history planning for this year, so it's very inspirational to see what other families are doing. Some resources that we have used/are using/hope to use insha'Allah:

REVELATION: The Story Of Muhammad by Meraj Mohiuddin and Sherman Jackson (this is a textbook style book, but super thorough...another homeschooler Hana @PepperandPine I believe has used it/is using it)

The Story of the Holy Prophet Muhammad by Humera Malik (short chapters, setup for Ramadan, but we use it as a spine)

The Life of the Prophet Muhammad by Leila Azzam and Aisha Gouverneur (less dense then the Martin Lings book, which is so lovely, but with so many names, my children would get lost)

anything by Demi :) Conference of the Birds is a personal favorite. I see you found others of hers!

Treasury of Muslim Literature: The Golden Age 750-1250 CE by Dr. Freda Shamma

Ayat Jamilah: Beautiful Signs: A Treasury of Islamic Wisdom for Children and Parents by Sarah Conover and Freda Crane

Companions Of The prophet 2 Volume Set By Abdul Wahid Hamid (so many companions I did not know about! subhannAllah)

My children are younger, so we've used picture books about famous Muslims like Salahudin, Mansa Musa, Sundiata, ibn Sina, ibn Battuta

Great video! Will be checking out the blog post too. We are doing a unit study on the Romans at the moment and will then move on to the Vikings. Do these books have any info about famous Romans and/or Vikings?

MashaAllah you have a new layout of your video this time. I think i like it. But it feels like watching a mature celebrity work throught their library and showing us what they have cherry picked over the years. Lol. May be the drama is in my head.
By the way i find your videos as helpful as ever. I love your channel and find your research and dedication to home schooling inspirational. MashaAllah.
May Allah put barakah in your efforts. Ameen
