Really HONEST review.. As you mentioned, this is the real problem with Phone and any zoom lens ( monocular ).. So, finally it is difficult to work.

I found the same problem with the weight of the phone pulling the camera to be out of alignment. I added a tissue to the bottom part of the phone mount which fixed the problem for me.

Adjust the mounting from scope eye piece by turning to your desired angle not the phone.i think this will help.

Put a towel or something on the front to counter the weight. And when u zoom in use the focus knob on the scope. U never used it in the video

And when you turn the focuser that the phone is attached to, the phone turns too?

Its cheap dont expect too If the spotting scope is good thats all matters lets just buy batter tripod😁

This scope is a complete waste of money for wildlife watching at distance, please don't waste your money like I did, save the money and put it towards a better quality scope, you really do get what you pay for.

So which phone adapter would be recommended that works with this particular spotting scope? I found the weight of the phone was a problem too… 🫤
