The co-hosts of "The View" had a lot to say about Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars. Whoopi Goldberg, Sunny Hostin, Joy Behar and Ana Navarro shared their unfiltered opinions on the jaw-dropping 2022 Academy Awards altercation. The "King Richard" star shocked viewers on Sunday night when he got out of his chair and smacked the comedian across the face after he made a joke about the hair of Jada Pinkett Smith, who suffers from alopecia.

When Will Smith stormed onto the Oscar stage to strike Chris Rock for making a joke about his wife's short hair, he did a lot more damage than just to Rock's face. With a single petulant blow, he advocated violence, diminished women, insulted the entertainment industry, and perpetuated stereotypes about the Black community.
