Would be interesting to use project board, the 1" thick green insulation dense foam you can get from Lowe's. Bet it would provide a really good heat barrier. We use them in our RV windows, and they make a huge difference. You could also insulate your cold lines with pipe foam.

What is that 1/2 inch insulation board you are using? Whats it called, as im currently doing the same exact project. Thank you. Your method seems better than just wrapping it all with reflectix, which was my original plan. Thank you.
