I was in Tamanrasset city arriving from El Oued and leaving to Taghit by bus on my own as one of the first foreigners to do it. We were there at the same time, unfortunately it was my 50th day of extended touristic visa already so i didn't look for anyone to bring me to the desert for free and stayed for less than 2 days at Imaros hostel (dortoir) for 2 euros per night. I hope this comment can be helpful for travellers!
