Sketching Alpacas in Ink and Watercolour

Today we are sketching three adorable Alpacas in ink and then adding a simple watercolour wash in our sketchbook.

Watercolour half pans Winsor & Newton
Small pointed wash brush by sostrene Grene

I love these watercolors. Alpaca's are such fun animals. I saw some in Colorado in the 90's at my parents'house. We went into the backyard. There were three or four of them. They saw us and ran over to the fence to see us. I like how you just showed the idea of the hair with the colors. Thank you.

Great video such fun. The sketchbook was it cartridge paper or watercolour paper? Just wondering as I have both but not used paint on cartridge paper one. 😊
