Every Second the Arctic is 'bleeding' it's ice. It's us, humans that have caused the urgent rate of bleeding/melting. The Arctic is currently on, or very near to, a tipping point. It's an open wound and the proof of that the current 'state of affairs' is threatening our civilization. Human-induced greenhouse gas emissions. Every Second the Arctic is 'bleeding' it's ice into the ocean. Increasing sea levels. Conflicting with and upsetting the circulation of the Gulf Stream and the oceans circulation (notably the Gulf Stream) is slowing down as a result. The Arctic ice is the thermostat or air conditioner if you will, for the human civilization.
The vanishing is going on at an alarming rate with unprecedented speed. Every second. We have to stop the melt-off by keeping fossil fuels in the ground and close the open wound as we have cut in our own veins. #WeDontHaveTime #KeepItInTheGround
