My Incredible Son With No Eyes | BORN DIFFERENT

A mother and her inspiring six-year-old son who was born with a gap in his face is raising awareness of the treatment of people with facial differences. Christian Buchanan from Woodbury, Tennessee, was born with Tessier cleft lip and palate, a rare condition which has only been documented 60 times in medical history. Tessier cleft lip and palate is the result of the facial tissues not joining properly during development, causing a facial disfigurement and the inability to eat, speak and see.

Showed this to my own 6 year old. He cried saying he was so mad someone could be mean to Christian. If we talk to our kids about how “normal” disabled kids can be, it changes the narrative. This kind of visibility ends the stigma and I’m glad y’all show these videos. Goodnight from Michigan

It saddens me to hear that some people nowadays still can't accept that there are "different" people in this world and it breaks my heart to hear that a grown up grown flat out says "eww" to a child. I'm 11 years old and my brother has ADHD and Autism and that forced me to grow fast. He is almost 16 years old and watching this video made me feel so grateful and appreciative of I have. Also it made me inspired that a kid without one of his senses can stay so positive.
