Very well done. Used this for my valve cover gasket replacement, you cut my time in half and rescued me from breaking all sorts of connectors!

There’s a few videos on YouTube of other people doing this job, your video is the best because you clearly explain everything as well as do the repair realtime. Because of you I saved $1200 from not having to take it to a shop

Thanks for this great video, I just changed out this gasket on my 2011 N55 335i. Took me about 9 hours. One observation, regarding removal of the 6 electrical connectors for the fuel injectors. It's not very clear above how to undo the latch (or tab) on these 6. I did use a pick tool but almost broke the housing trying to remove the connector. I actually had to grab each connector with a needle-nose pliers to get them out, they were pretty tight. When standing over the passenger fender and looking across the engine (like you are in the video), these 6 connectors are rotated at abut 45 degrees. The instruction that I'd add is that the side of the housing that you need to get the pick tool under and unlatch is the side facing 7:30. The adjacent side (facing 4:30) has a tab and this looks like the side with the latch, but is not. Hope this helps. Thanks again, some great tips in there.

Another great DIYer Zeiten. I love your detailed instructions & cautions. All the heat cycles will make the plastic brittle & they will want to break. I'm curious, how many miles on this VC when it needed replacing? What is the normal dealer charge for this R&R? Greetings from an old jarhead in WNC. Is that your new E70 X5 that you were working out off.

I thought 2011 is when they started putting the n55 in the 335. 2007-2010 all had n54’s I thought

Do you have a video in which you change the EPS Electric Power Steering rack on a E90 series?

Just followed your video step by step, but the only issue im having is rethreading my fuel rail back on unfortunately. It is the fuel pipe bolt that connects the fuel rail to the HPFP. Threads appear to be fine as well.

Sorry to be a pain, I've got a quick question if i may. Got E90 N43 engine Msport. Has a 2e85 code which is water pump communication issue. Funny thing is i can see water pump bleeds fine and it does not overheat or anything. What can do would i need to replace water pump anyway or should i be looking for fuse or something? Any help can be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Is it really needed to replace the entire valve cover or is just the gasket enough? Heard that people were getting issues with pcv after vcg replacement and having to redo the job. Any input please?
