I just lost my Pawpaw Saturday. He was 89 and passed on his birthday. I haven't seen him in a long time, but so many of my fondest memories from my childhood have him in them. He was a great man and all I can do is smile in knowing he's with Nannie up in Heaven. I just wish I could have hugged him one more time and introduced him to his great great grandson. Love you Pawpaw, tell Nannie and Aunt Jan hello.

We played this song at my papas funeral in 2018. He was recovering from prostate cancer removal and he had an episode where he passed out then started having complications. He passed away unexpectedly in the night. We found him when I got back from band rehearsal and the light was still on and so was the TV. I missed 3 or 4 days total from school and the first band comp of the season just because of his death. I was the last one to see him before he passed and I wish I would have told my dad that something wasn’t right.... we lost him a month after I turned 16...I turn 18 in August.

Every single time I hear it, I think of my dad, I lost him suddenly and unexpectedly in 2003...it hurt...I spent most my life not around him and on my high school graduation he shows up...and we were just starting to make those memories, I felt I was just getting him back and only, to lose him all over again....I tear up Everytime I hear this, but I love it so much♥️♥️♥️♥️
