James Comey Interview Part 2: The Hillary Clinton email investigation

Comey tells ABC News' George Stephanopoulos he became uncomfortable when his boss, then Attorney General Loretta Lynch, asked him to describe the Clinton email investigation as a "matter."

You guys all know Donald Trump was joking about the Russian having the e-mails. If they were in collusion he would not have announced it at a campaign rally. How can an FBI, THE HEAD GUY, not know this?

His willingness to torpedo Hillary's campaign by "coming forward to Congress" is disingenuous when at the same time he was SILENT about the FBI's Trump investigation.

Asymmetrical "concern" for one side but not the other is a thin veil of partisanship.

Reopening a closed investigation, doing so publically and with no evidence of wrongdoing, 11 days before polling day, and doing so without informing his boss the Attorney General of the United States was GROSS DERELECTON OF DUTY. The consequences have been catastrophic. He should be in prison. His Ego took over, he deserved to be fired. Incompetent, reckless and stupid.

His book is both bipartisan and an excellent character study. His reputation, and character are both irrefutable. And when you see how far back he and Bob Mueller go, his firing will begin to make perfect sense...an unethical incompetent move

What a pushover. He was like a pinball for the big leaguers. He did not act like the fucking FBI Director, now he feels like talking like he had no choice. He exited the back door in politics.
