If it wasn't for YOU, Rick, I never would have lost my fear of exploring other countries outside of the United States, and I might have missed literally a world of priceless memories that I have amassed. So, thank you so much!

It has also recently come to my attention that you are battling prostate cancer. I know the phrase "You are in our thoughts and prayers" has become so overused lately, that it no longer means what it used to. Well Rick, coming from a true Christian, I can tell you that to me, that phrase means that I will be praying to God every single day for your comfort and a speedy and full recovery. Don't lose faith, Rick. God often answers not only my prayers, but others as well. And let me tell you, brother, you have a LOT of people praying for you right now!

So, don't put away that million-dollar Rick Steves smile just yet. There's still a ton of "beyond Europe" countries out there and we're expecting you to guide us through all of them over the next few years. You're not going to get off that easily! 😉
