At my school, we have a security guard named Ernie. Everyone at school loves him and always greets him at the door. One time, a few weeks before his birthday, I emailed all the teachers and students to arrange a surprise celebration. When we were all eating lunch, we had someone go to distract him as we all gathered and prepared. Eventually, Ernie came and we all sang happy birthday. We also game him a birthday card signed by every student and teacher. By the end, he was crying and he mentioned how that was his best birthday ever.

One guy told out favorite teacher who's husband had cheated on her and left her with a son that her husband had left her because she was worthless. I go to a tiny private school-it was the only time we ever locked someone in a locker. We also flipped his desk in every class for a week.

I made my Year 8 Spanish teacher cry on Thank A Teacher Day and on her last day. I miss her so much, she was the best Spanish teacher ever.

ik this ain’t reddit but when I was a pre teen, about 6th grade I was a terrible student, always getting in fights, graffitied stuff, and verbally abused my teachers Exept for one, let’s call her ms T, I got put in her class and all of a sudden my grades rose and I felt much happier, I gained a close circle of friends and got to partake in some fun stuff. One day I saw Ms T trying to break up a fight and she got kicked in the leg and stood on by the crowd of kids recording the fight. Later that week I saw her welcoming kids to the school gaye with a smile but I could tell she was tired of her job, I went and sat down on the concrete next to her and just spoke to her for hours. That day she said she was retiring and it was her last month, after that month we had no contact for her, graduation from 6th grade rolled around and sitting on my chair was a large bouquet of flowers and a whole binder of my work before and after being in her class, as I stated into the audience I saw her staring right back at me, at the end of graduation I got pulled up onto the stage and was handed a check ($1000) and an award called “the biggest improvement in work award” aka the Gabby award after me, Gabby. This award is still at my old primary school even after 4 years. My photo is hanging in my schools office and I still come and volunteer at the school.
