I bring a review of Selvedge jeans from EDWIN; these jeans are mid-range and have good construction with some caveats. Which one is the best? Remember that there are separate companies, EDWIN Japan and EDWIN Europe.

This is not sponsored. All garments are bought with my own money.

I a hoping for a link on description box on all brands you reviewed would be available soon. I believed you have a keen eyes and expertise than most your viewers and from the way I look, you deserve to have discount coupon for all those brands. Full detailed and truest forms of reviews possible.

Thank you for this video. I actually always had Levis jeans until the quality got worse. Then I came across Nudie Jeans, Ive had 1 of their jeans for 2 years without a single blowout and 1 of them had blowouts everywhere after a year. Then I searched further and came across Edwin. Their jeans are sooo great and durable. The cut is also great. Unfortunately, the brand is not well known in Germany and other EU countries.

Hi, thank you for the video.

Can you provide me with the exact style names and links to the jeans? (Or edit the description box?)

Thank you so much!

So to be clear, the Edwin made in Japan you can find on end are the European ones? Because they are also very nice quality. However now I need to try those real made in Japan ones to see what difference is. The red leather tag you get for your coin pocket looks amazing!

Couple of comments...you are comparing washed with unwashed, which isn't a fair comparison. I have purchased twice from the Harajuku store - one unsanfortised and one sanfortised Regular Tapered EDS jeans; they feel very different and can only be compared once the unsanfortised ones have been washed.

However, I do agree that the EDS Harajuku store jeans are of incredibly high quality - i would say on a par with Studio d'Artisan SD-100 range, which are about 35% more expensive. I picked up the SDA for approx £130 in November 2024 and Edwin EDS sanfortised for about £95 and I have to say the Edwin gets more use.

Edwin Europe also makes/sells models that are made in Japan.

I’m not convinced those Japanese made denims are Nihon Menpu? They look like Kaihara to me? The reason I say this is because they don’t look neppy enough. My ONI Nihon Menpu denims have vertical imperfections running down them. I may be wrong though, maybe Edwin specified a cleaner look, just an observation. Thanks for the in-depth look at your denims 👍

How is the sizing between the European regular tapered (14oz Kurabo Recycle Denim Red Selvage) and the Japanese regular tapered (Nihon Menpu 14.6 oz Rainbow Selvage)? Thank you!
