Morning Verses With Mike
I'm doing daily Bible verse readings to share, grow, and impact others for good!
Psalm 28:7 (NLT)
'The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.'
This is simply the reminder that the shield and armor of God is enough.
David challenged the mighty Goliath. We could take a lesson from David. He went against Goliath with nothing but the Lord to cover him. The shield of Saul was too heavy to wear, but David came with the shield of faith in His God to protect him. There is no stronger armor against the woes, frustration, and evils of the world.
And, there is no better way to praise God than with beautiful songs of praise.
