One of the best songs ever I believe. So sad we lost Matt so soon. He had the most amazing voice. His range is amazing... seriously, try singing this.. Yeah, like has been said. It does bring a tear to the eye.

My sister and I saw them live at The Dorset Gardens Hotel in outer Melbourne late 84 I think. They were brilliant, slightly spoilt by being groped by some creep, which still didn’t ruin the music. So glad we got to see him. And amazing talent in Australia and often overlooked. Matt had something special about him and was amazingly creative. R.I.P to one of Australia’s best songwriters and musicians who is still loved and missed.

I bought my first cassette tape of Matt Moffett while I was stationed in Germany in the Army in 1991. I still have the cassette and I also have an album of his that I ordered straight from Australia, I live in the United States. Miss you Matt ❤

WOW. Came across this song quite by accident. Have not heard in over 20 years I think. Brought back so many memories of my youth and growing up in the suburbs. Great song and putting it down on my list for future listening. RIP Matt
