Bet you didn’t know this HELLDIVERS 2 TRICK to farm common samples AS FAST AS POSSIBLE

This one goes out to all the seasoned Helldivers commenting on our Super Sample videos

This is the best method for farming common samples quickly:

Find an easy to finish trivial mission, like an illegal broadcast or a flag raise if you have some friends

Trivial maps are smaller so it’s easier to search them quickly for all the common samples

there should be samples at the primary objective, the extract point, and about 10 minor POIs around the map

Use the map to confirm you picked up all the samples from each POI,

if you see a diamond gem symbol like this you missed some!

Then just finish off the primary objective and extract with your samples, find a new map, and repeat #helldivers2 #videogames

With this helldivers can more easily spread democracy to the galaxy whilst getting their own profit from their conquests. Great job informant!

I prefer difficulty 2, it's still piss easy, but it often spawns a radar station sub objective that'll mark all the points of interest, it tends to have a couple more samples per mission, and it'll spawn bug holes or bot fabricators that also tend to have some samples around

For farming samples on suicide mission difficulty, you can do a defense campaign (15 minute missions) and have two people do the center objective, and then have two others hitting up POI’s outside the main objective. You’ll run across POI’s that spawns rare samples in one huge mass, obtaining several rare samples in one POI. You also get the benefit of the super rares that you can find and also of course, commons. You’ll get about 80 samples total, granted you can survive and extract with them.

Did not realise that the diamonds were a dynamic map marker, Thank you for the short!

His voice makes even the "hey dummy" insult feel so enjoyable. Let's not even talk about the info he gives us so good for us beginners. Thank you brother. For Democracy

Never have I ever needed common samples, or even Uranium Super Rare Samples .... it's always the Rares I am short on

Important to note, not ALL POI's will have samples. Some will have nothing, but still say there are samples there, these are generally obvious, since they're the smaller POI's, like a secret stash, or similar. However, they'll always remain the diamond, just try to remember if you've been to check that one or not. Also remember, any any difficulty that has bug nests, or factories, they too will likely have a sample at them.

When you're done with the eradicate swarm missions, let the ship sit and wait for you while you search the periphery of the map for the common samples. Easy samples. Each squad member goes in a different direction (N, E, S, W) and rotate clockwise.

Defend missions are the best for samples since they always spawn in the same places depending on the map

Eradication Missions start as early as Medium (3) difficulty. You can solo them. The Green Samples spawn in the same locations all the time. There are a couple of map variants to learn, but you can run around the map collecting them as you fight.

Its not as boring as standard farming. At the very end, you can mop up whatever else remains and no more spawns appear at all. You can hunt for samples when the pelican arrives and leave when you want.

A few days ago I finally upgraded everything on my destroyer but God damn was farming the standard samples a chore. Thanks for the tip anyway! Maybe (hopefully) they'll give those samples more uses in the future

I go for level 2 missions cuz they’re still really quick and easy but also give the chance to have radar stations, so it’s just a bit easier to find everything.

Iam the groups sample guy. I use scout armor. And sneak around while the others pull the mobs.
After a few missions you get the hang of it and know what to look for. Last mission I took 32 samples alone.

This is a really good method, but if you have friends the "Retreive Essential Personnel" is a wonderful mission for all sample rarities. One individual presses some buttons while everyone else spends the 15 minutes going around the slightly larger than normal "small" map.

Level 7 mission, join a group of 4 and have one guy who is competent solo focus finding and collecting all the samples while 2 people do side missions/ bug holes and 1 guy focus the main obj. I can consistently get 30+ common samples with minimal difficulty. As long as you all keep an eye out for the samples you should collect 90% of all samples.

There is also a setting for the UI that shows a sample count with how many out of x amount (example 10/34) that is very helpful for making sure you have them all

I got more information from this 10 second video than many other 10 minute videos. Thank you!

Very useful. I’m used to playing on Helldive and I’m stocked on Supers and Rares but I’m bottlenecked by my commons.

Counterargument: Eradicates are best for commons because they take less than 10 minutes, are easily repeatable, the map is even smaller, AND once you've finished killing everything, nothing else will spawn.

The smaller map gives greater efficiency when looking around for samples, whereas even on a trivial map for any other mission, you'd still eat up at least 5-10 extra minutes just finding the POI's and looking for the commons at said POI (not to mention this isn't necessarily including travel time in between POI's), the extra time consumed will be exaggerated even more if you aren't lucky with finding the POI's or the map doesn't spawn a radar dish to help you track them all down
