In this video, I’m going to give you an overview of the Benzinga Pro Platform. We’re going to cover, what it is, who it is for, and also we’ll talk about what it does.

The Benzinga platform is news-based, you can use it to do some research about a certain stock, and Benzinga will populate all the news for that specific stock, as well as some additional information.

I find that this platform is really good for analyzing fundamental data. If you’re a fundamental trader and you trade based on news, this platform can be very powerful and helpful for you.

The great thing about Benzinga is that it is really user-friendly and easy to use. You can access a lot of information really quickly, such as earnings, dividends, SEC filings, press releases, company details, etc.

Who is Benzinga for?

I would say Benzinga is more for active traders that are making trading decisions based on fundamental analysis, or making trading decisions based on the news. If this is your case and you want to be able to access stock news very quickly and in an organized way, then Benzinga is for you. It saves you time from doing the research, and everything is compressed in one place.

However, if you’re a beginner, and you’re making trading decisions based on the charts, the panel doesn’t really focus on people who like to trade based on technical analysis as much. So if you are a technical analysis trader, in that case, Benzinga is not for you.

I am eager to grow into both an effective fundamental and technical trader. I have talked to people far and wide trying to find something like this platform. I love news moves in stock. They are very profitable and often short lived so getting the news quickly according to my set criteria is just amazing. The key is not being the last person to the party when a news release os causing a buy or sell frenzy. I literally love this and can't wait to incorporate it into my arsenal after I develop further in my trading education.

Nobody needs benzinga pro but if you do you can get a free trial. It’s not perfect a lot of bugs.
