After Rebirth, the FF7 dev team has earned the benefit of the doubt. While I didn’t agree with everything they did in part 2, it was still a phenomenal game. Even without Hamaguchi hyping it up, everyone who played Rebirth was already anticipating the third installment. His announcement just upped that ante. Rebirth already had a big world; I can’t imagine how much bigger it’s going to be in part 3.

After Rebirth I have full confidence in Hamaguchi and the team to deliver a masterpiece! Also I saw the theory that there could be aerial battles with the Highwind and Shinra

Hamaguchi-Sensei always says the right things and has actually backed up his claims, a rarity in the industry. It’s so refreshing to see a developer continue to push the limits instead of having to cut back when the environment to produce hasn’t been ideal.

Also, it might be a good idea to see level 4 spells to keep things a little fresh. The "Ja" category.

I hope Square Enix will add some new content around the characters in an update to any of the existing Remake or Rebirth. That would make it even more joyful to go back and play the games and to look for stuff I missed. Waiting for the next installment feels like it's going to be a pain. I love the atmosphere they created in these games.

I cannot wait to replay Rebirth for my third time after the Pro releases. Time to finish up the last few trophies. Such an incredible game, walking into those grasslands for the first time was pure gaming magic.

I really hope we can save build load outs, got a bit tedious swapping materia all the time in rebirth, still my GOTY though

My girlfriend is finally playing Rebirth. She's already played Remake but after the console switch I decided to replay Remake simply to get her the Leviathan Materia, and I noticed something. Sephiroth says, "That which binds us together blah blah blah and I would loathe to live in such a world". Cloud calls him a bastard and attacks, and Sephiroth says, "Good. Hold onto that hatred". That's the key. Right out the gate. Cloud is going to have to forgive Sephiroth to save the world. It's not a revenge part two. It's a forgiveness story. He's going to realize in part 3 that he and Sephiroth aren't so different after all: experimented against their will, both killers, both cold hearted. In the mobile game they are showing Sephiroth's sensitive side. That he too has the "headaches". Dude, they're basically brothers. And I think love is going to actually conclude this story. Or at least forgiveness. Something like that. Sephiroth will still die to satisfy those that want it that way. But I think forgiveness will be key to his demise.

I just hope it's on the PS5. I literally bought a ps5 because of rebirth. I don't want to have to buy another system anytime soon.

I really love the mini games and the stuff in between the story. I hope that the “critics” didn’t go to heavy on this part because although it is filler, it was fun. I hope they keep that in ff7 remake 3 because rebirth is one of my favorite games of all time.

That's all very good to know and I know The Highwind travel is gonna be AMAZING!!! Still I'm hoping that a miracle will happen with Square-Enix and part 3 will be released a little sooner, like sometime in 2026 cause they've been working on this since 2 years ago already.

Are they including explorable Midgar+ the whole map+ an extended northern region? If so the game size would be 150gb or more
