Candied Bacon Recipe – It’s everything, all at once! Now you tell me, is it a dish, a spice an ingredient or what?
Here’s what you need to make this:
1 ½ Lbs bacon - thick cut
½ cup brown sugar – packed
¼ cup syrup – maple
¼ cup vinegar – rice wine
red pepper flakes and black pepper to taste
(save a little pepper flakes for a neat touch at the end)

I had Smoky Bones Candied Bacon as an appetizer and honestly it was better than my full meal. Best bacon Ive ever had in my life.

This also works great in a pan. Just brush it after every flip. Do you think it would make a good B.L.T?

Do you only flip these once? When they are coming out every 5 min are you just brushing on the same side? Holy hell do these look good lol
