I forgot to mention in the beginning of this video that this is not a gear recommendation from me. As the title stated they are multi use camping gear you have probably never seen. Basically stuff for the guy who has everything. I saw it more as a fun video to highlight unique innovations in the camping industry. Do I like this gear? Yes. But I have only been using most of it for a couple of months now. So I can't make a strong recommendation at the moment as I haven't put this gear through paces like I typically do.

i liked the kettle but have a small rice cooker that boils water, soup, etc. I have used one for decades now. in dorms, barracks, camping. Love it.

I don't know if you have a film background, but your videos are so well done. They create such a great vibe and mood. Product reviews feel like a 15 minute camping trips and are so calming for those of us stuck behind the desk. You obviously spend a lot of time and effort on them, so I just want to say kudos.

Drew, I love the cargo trailer. How's it working out? Are you pulling it with the Subaru Outback Wilderness?

I still have an old fashioned handle crank flashlight. It doesn't last very long because the batteries are old. Still a few cranks and I'm good to go.

Thanks for sharing these great items Drew. I think a matt screen protector would solve the issues of glare on the monitor. A low cost option for the kettle is a travel kettle/coffeemaker set which use low power. I've seen them occasionally at thrift shops, some are quite old but often in good shape as they haven't been used much and are complete with a compact case and accessories

If you're still in the market for a portable air pump I would suggest the Halo boat air I personally use this Halo bow and it is pretty good at Tire refilling and you can always use as a flashlight and a car jump starter and a portable battery

Drew you are the man. Cool stuff, love the retro vibe you go for.

The tri-fold ‘panel/table’ seems as if it’d have a little more utility if the solar surfaces were facing outside when it’s folded into a ‘table leg.’ Even though the angle to the sun wouldn’t be optimized while using as a table, odds are it could collect a few electrons while being used as a table in the daytime…

Love the mini air compressor for long mountain/electric bike trips. Looks like it fits easily in a small backpack (or even fanny pac)

I really enjoyed the video Drew! Welcome back to the land of early morning coffee shops! Go have a cup on me! Do you still have your Bean?

Hold on now - where did this luxurious enclosed cargo trailer setup come from?? That looks very SWEET! A multi-purpose unit - hauling gear and sleeping quarters! Your gear continues to upscale as well. That lantern/bluetooth speaker is a real winner.

Found your channel a few weeks ago, just bought a tiny teardrop that someone had built .long story short I’m in the process of making it the way I want it, watching your channel has been a major help in my decision making on how I am redoing the camper . Just went through the list of camping stuff I've purchased - Iceco refrigerator, Buddy heater, and now Bowdem pot. You recommended them all! And one of your best recommendations was to watch RV East Coast!

As always, well done Drew. It’s so important to focus on the value something brings you at camp, how often you use it and ultimately where do you store it.

This video is AWESOME! But I just purchased the mini kettle cooker and the discount code did not work. It gave an error saying to enter a valid discount code. I still bought it, but figured folks might want to know.

could you fold your solar panels the other way? if you have the same table shape, but the panels were outside, you would still have some amount of charging capacity.

Why is everything just a way to bring more electronic garbage into the woods with you? Does anybody camp to go outside and disconnect any more?

1:15 "How many angles to the Sun?" A: Zero. That segment with the solar panels was all recorded in a shady spot for some reason. 😀
