I do a level art subjects but I saw the gcse starting points the other day they are a lot nicer than what I had for mine! I had a love/hate relationship with drama! Good luck!

Double Science (now known as 'Combined Science') gives you two GCSEs - Core Science and Additional Science, as you have said, and Triple Science (now known as 'Separate Sciences') gives you three GCSES - Biology, Chemistry and Physics. For Combined Science you do 6 exam papers at the end of the course, and for Separate Sciences, you do 6, but they are longer than (I don't know how much by) the Combined science papers:)

I chose combined science, history, photography and sociology. my school is trying to force us to do a language saying "it'll be good to get the english baccalaureate!1!!!11 you'll get into university!" but i don't see the point of doing a subject i'll most likely fail, and no uni will even bother if i flopped french

I've just picked my GSCE's, I picked geography, French, history and drama. Although i love acting, I was a bit unsure about what drama was going to be like, but now I've got a better idea of how's it's going to be. Thanks! And good luck for when you take your GSCE's! xx :)

Wow it's like my school are the only ones that do Spanish instead of Germany! My choices were Triple Science, History, Graphics and French+Spanish :)

geography
business communications systems?
spanish or psychology so which out of the 2 is the easiest!

I do English Language and Literature, Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics (which are separate gcses at my school) drama, re, history and German. My favourite lessons are history and German. How was your geography exam? Everyone I knew who took it said it was hard.

We have a similar system. If you were in route two you had to do the core subjects a humanity and Spanish and the options we picked. In my school this year we started a year earlier (I'm currently in year nine.) and they introduced a route three. Im in route two and I've picked business which is boring but will be very useful in the future and photography. In photography I have been doing disguise. Sorry if this was boring for you I tend to ramble . Are you staying on in six form.

I am from Ireland. Next year I will be doing my junior cert. I have to do English, Maths, History and Science. The option subjects I took are Spanish, Home Economics, Sports Science and Advanced Maths. The subjects I am omitted from are Irish, Geography and Religious Education. The subjects I am examined in are English, Maths, History, Science, Spanish and Home Economics. Sports Science and Advanced Maths are continuous assessment.

Ireland is so different to the uk! I have my junior cert in June which I guess is the same as gcse only thing is it's not my last year in secondary school it's my 3rd we have to do 6 years :( we have to do history and geography for the junior cert and irish and either french or German :( I have 10 subjects in total ! My mocks start on Tuesday also! Good luck in your GCSE xx

I'm late but we're taking choosing out now. In our school languages are no longer mandatory so now I don't know what to choose.
I was chosen for three sciences, triple, and I have to do core PE, RE/PSHE and of course the English, maths etc.
Out of the humanities I'm choosing history and out of my two choices I'm going to choose Geography.
And I'm stuck between Spanish and PE studies.
