Checksum - 1fa57ad9

Please ensure that you have the latest version of the app and during the process your iOS device remains turned on and close to your G3/Atom with also needs to remain powered

1. Check the current version of software in your unit by going the MENU/GLOBAL/VERSION. If the number matches the number above, you have the latest software. If the version you have has a lower number, you can update your software. PLEASE NOTE the higher the number, the newer the software
2. Download the latest software (link above) to your iOS device.
2. In your iOS device, turn on AIRPLANE mode, then turn on BLUETOOTH. This ensures no interruptions while doing the update
3. Backup your G3. You don't have to do this but I find its good practice to have a backup before an update

Now we are ready to do the update

4. On G3/Atom go to MENU/GLOBAL/BLUETOOTH and select UPDATE. This will start the Bluetooth on G3/Atom
5. Open the app, Then press CONNECT. Select your G3/Atom in the list, once connected, hit DISMISS
6. Select UPDATE on the app
7. At the top of the app, you'll see FIRMWARE FILES. Select the latest update file from the list
8. Press TRANSMIT
9. Take note of how many packets are being sent
10. After the update has finished transferring check the CHECKSUM
11. As long as you have the correct checksum, follow the onscreen prompts to install your software

If you've done a backup then you can do a factory reset and reinstall your back up.
This isn't 100% necessary but if you do find you have any issues with a particular press after the software update, simply clear that preset and re-program it.

This is great, modern life with it’s blue teeth and wireless fighs has really made me begrudge wires and plugging stuff in, so thank you for this!

Here’s an issue I had that others with an Eventide H9 and accompanying iOS app may experience. When you download the G3 update to your iOS device, the file get’s tagged with an H9 app identifier. When you click on the file to add it to the G3 update files, it launches the H9 app. Maybe there’s an easier way to disassociate that but I deleted the H9 app temporarily so it would associate with the G3 app and that worked to get the file into the G3 app. Things went fine from there.

Is there any plans for implementing it being possible to program cc/pc messages from the app, rather than on the board? Being able to make patches from the app would be awesome

So - just noticed dan's signal chain starts with switch 14 and works backwards to delay on switch 5. Is this the normal way to set up the signal flow? I went the other way and started with my comp and boost in 1 etc and finished in the higher numbers. Did I make a mistake?

The Android app still doesn't work for me the Samsung Galaxy S22. My phone's bluetooth recognizes the G3 but the app itself still won't. I've tried "rescanning", "connecting", "disconnecting" and literally nothing happens. It's frustrating becuase when I select the G3 from my bluetooth settings it says something like "needs app to open" ... but the app don't work.
