The reason you didn’t get sound was you went out of the app (possibly really quick) for one reason or another (like a phone call etc) or you need to turn up your music volume (right above sound effects) which is probably the case or you need to flick your ringer switch on

I have the opposite problem as you. My traps only make sounds, but it doesn’t show that they have gone off, which makes trap tunnels and stuff like that pretty much impossible...
