Kevin Costner, Susan Sarandon reunite at Venice #shorts

36 years after the release of Ron Shelton’s steamy baseball romance “Bull Durham,” co-stars Kevin Costner and Susan Sarandon got together again at the 81st annual Venice Film Festival.
“There’s nothing like catching up with an old friend,” Costner wrote on his Instagram Thursday, sharing a picture of himself with Sarandon. “Great to see you [Susan Sarandon] we’ve come a long way since our ‘Bull Durham’ days.”
Sarandon was nominated for a Golden Globe for best musical or comedy for her role in the 1988 hit.
The pair were reunited Sept. 5 at the Better World Fund’s philanthropy event at the Cipriani Hotel in Venice. “This significant occasion is dedicated to supporting women’s empowerment through the vector of art,” the Better World Fund Wrote on Instagram, outlining the significance of the night.
