01 Border Collie at 9 Weeks Old - first training tips for puppies.

Follow 10 year old Chenin taking her first steps with our new Border Collie puppy Maddie. New skills for the puppies and owners. Kids can be great teachers too & it's a great way to build an early bond with a new puppy. We believe that parents should consider including their children in taking more responsibility for the family pets. Often kids are left to simply play and they encourage bad habits which later take work to resolve.

We've experience in reward-based dog training and canine behaviour in general, but there is always something new to learn or try.

Favourite resources are the famous @Jan Fennell, who rewrote the book on understanding dogs, and the fantastic @McCann Dog Training - based in Canada, who have a fabulous channel and specifically do a lot of work with Border Collies. There are many more out there, these are just two of our favourites.
