After nearly two months and countless hours of work I'M DONE with my DIY guitar.
There was some trouble with the bridge and my fingers still hurt from all the carving but it was soooo worth it. It pretty much ended up being a custom shop guitar.
Enjoy Guitar Tweakz!

I used these parts for the DIY guitar (Thomann affiliate links):

** Why the "Includes paid promotion" message? **
According to german laws everyone has to mark their videos as advertisements as soon as there's a single "subject relevant" product, tag or link in it. Even if you didn't get paid for making that video. Sounds confusing and it really doesn't help the viewer to see which is a paid review and which isn't.
--- The line of truth: Is this actually a paid review? Mojotone and Gotoh supplied the parts for this build, so technically it's a paid promotion. (I update this line for every video).

In addition to your amazing playing, general guitar knowledge and video editing skills, I think your channel is one of the best if not, the best DIY/Mods channel for guitar out there! Cheers man, very well done!

The blue is nice but I actually preferred the gold. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is awesome! Well done Kris! 😊👍

Let's be honest, if this man doesn't deserve to have a million subscribers, then who deserves it? I've never seen anyone so dedicated to his videos and his work at the same time. On every fuckin' detail man. Thanks Kris.

Uff... what an amazing build! Your passion for guitars drips through the screen.

"Bootcaster"

That design looks like something etched on a cowboy's boot

Dude. That’s really impressive. I always knew you were a great luthier, but the work you did on this guitar is in a whole other level!! Congrats, my friend!!!

Absolutely incredible. Such a beauty. I can hear the pride in your voice. I would name "Caster Chandelier". I don't know why. Just seems right.

This video is a brilliant all in one package of music, build instruction and demonstration! I would call this a "Kristring" guitar! There are too much "...caster" named...

That looks really well put together, Kris. The bound neck and the matching headstock, and the color with the black guard and P90s—nice colorway!
Name: Taco-caster

Really enjoyed this 2 part build. Attention to detail and sand sand sand, but we both know. The result is only as good as the preparation and your prep is top notch KB. Great relic techniques, thanks, just added a few to my book of favorites. Never really was keen on this body shape. But, your build has given me a new appreciation and I think it looks absolutely wicked! Love the cts pots, and the oil filled cap, switch craft jack. Can't go wrong with what works so well. Sounds excellent, and looks like it is easy play.
The name of this build should be Krelic Master as it is a heavy relic Jazz Master design made by Kris Barocsi.

Don't be humble, Krelic Master is definitely worth being on a Barocsi custom. After thoughts, Krelicaster or Relicaster have a nice ring to them. You are donating it for the cause. Sounds cool KB, cheers!

For pickgaurds, if I have one already in the shape I want, I use that as a template and use a router flush cut bit. I use the smallest one. They are pretty tiny. Then hit the outside edge with a chamfer

That looks incredible, what a nice work done! I would call the guitar "The Blue Lily" because it reminds me that awesome flower a lot: it is blue with golden/red stamina and, of course, green stem and lower leafs.
