This is video tutorial how to install jasper report server on ubuntu.

System Requirement :

Resource Footprint Minimum Recommended
Disk 1.3 Gigabytes 10GB free 40GB +
RAM 4GB 8GB
Processor 2 core minimum 2.5GHz + multi-core Pentium for Windows, Mac, andLinux

This installation using bundled tomcat and postgree sql

1. Download jasper Report

2. Copy file to linux ubuntu 16.04 under directory
/myapps

3. running installer using this command below .

4. Install option
a. Install all option
b. installation directory : Linux (as root) /opt/jasperreports-server-cp-
c. tomcat configuration I want to use bundled tomcat
d. postgresql configguration " I wan to used bundle postgresql"
e. installing sample data

5. how to start and stop service

Start JasperReports Server:

Stop JasperReports Server:

To start and stop individual components:
cd (installation dir)

6. Logging into jasperreport server
user id : jasperadmin
password : jasperadmin
