Kings Island - Saturday, August 24, 2013

Another trip to Kings Island to check the progress of Banshee construction, and to take the final Beast tour of the season. The park raised an impressive $126,000 for the Susan G. Komen For the Cure 2013 campaign, partly through selling pink Snoopy toys and Beast tours. Filmed Saturday, August 24, 2013.

Through most of August, Kings Island offered Beast tours for $30 ($25 online.) I took advantage of the last one on 8/24/13. I found out about it in their e-newsletter. You can get shots near the station exit, as long as you stay out of everyone's way.

Yes, Banshee is where SOB used to be. I've always thought it was funny that people had a problem with the name "Banshee."

I don't work there. I went on a tour ($25) to get Beast footage, and Dinosaurs Alive to get Racer footage. Everything else is shot from inside the park.
