The only other toy I can think of is the EasyBake Oven. Maybe some shaved ice things, I had a Barbie set that was a pineapple that also shaved ice, and the cups doubled as chairs for the dolls.

Where I'm from, there is a huge emphasis on not playing with our food. When I worked in child care, I had to remind them not to, even though I wanted to join in. One day, I was making a goldfish cracker swim through the air in front of me, when I realized they were watching. "Oops" I said "no playing with our food. Even grown ups make mistakes." A five-year old looked at me shrewdly and said "you're just a big kid, aren't you." I felt offended at first, but then I said "Yes I am. Thanks for noticing." hahahaha

I love these videos!! As a yonsei Japanese American I am definitely more used to the Japanese food that developed from the internment camp times. I grew up eating the somen with shoyu hotdogs yumm
