I dunno about that. As a Leafs fan I naturally see a lot of Kessel shots. His stick has an insane flex. It also has a greater tendency to break when he gets slashed or bangs it on the boards in frustration.

I use a 77 flex on my bauers. I'm around 6 feet and 220 pounds. Just because he plays in the NHL doesn't mean he uses a 120 flex stick...

It was probably not an actual S17. Most players and a lot of them do still today with Easton, use the SE16 just repainted as the current stick. You could see a lot of the RS without the rounded shafted and it was all square, SE16 repaint. That was Easton's best stick, heard the Mako was like it though or the remake of it.
