I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm working on a fall table runner, doing 6 inch squares and I've completed a sparrow, an acorn, and a squirrel, all but his tail that I'll be working on this week. I am doing a fox next and I thought of a buckeye, and this too would be lovely and so simple! And speaking of leaves, I could do a lovely maple or oak leaf too! So thankyou! I just love how you use texture of materials and fraying for depth, I tend to paint with thread and do tiny stitches, and try to fill every inch of my background fabric with seed stitches. I need to loosen up a bit!

beautiful!!! paper and cloth mixes are exciting to me. am experimenting. fave so far is piece of tulle sandwiched between two pieces of tissue paper and soaked with watered down matt medium tinted with drop of fluid acrylic. dries completely easy to hand stitch! : )

I wonder if I would have thought to use a finer needle on the leaf, probably not. I don't use glue enough to keep things in place either. Thanks for the tips. Your page turned out great!
