I feel like Burns is the only fighter in that top 10 that Khamzat would not attempt to take down because of his BJJ. If he fought Colby he would absolutely attempt the TDs more. He would also ragdoll Jorge.

I like these breakdowns about the number of strikes and the strength of each one. As when I watch the fights, I mostly look for the big attacks that give the crowd a reaction so we tend to miss the smaller strikes. 💪

Khamzat proved he is top 5 material. But burns also proved hes human.
I think he should be matched up with the winner of Belal and Luque instead of Colby, so he has a platform to show improvements. Going straight for Colby might be a big risk, although it would be a big sell.

I just rewatched the fight, and I have to agree. If someone scored it for Gilbert, I wouldn't be mad. It was unbelievably close. But I think Khamzat won by a paper thin margin.

Watching it live, I thought Khamzat edged out the round. This one could’ve gone either way and not have been a robbery.
