In this video I dig up and remove a house trap from a sewer line. Most of the time house traps are only good for clogging up a sewer line. 9 times out of 10 they wont help in any other way.. So REMOVE IT.

Very cool, we work in a lot of old houses but we rarely see any with house traps

We were demoing the plumbing in an old house and my boss unleashed an apprentice on the house trap with a sledge hammer. We all just stood back and watched.

In sf the house trap in in the side walk by the curb. You can actualy plunge the house trap to clear a stopage if your lucky.

I basement floor drains will let gases out once you remove that. Happen to me. Old houses didn’t have floor drain trap primers. Some didn’t have traps in the floor ❤

if tye line sbove msin drain was (or is) a vent than you should have use a TYE instead of the 90, creating a CO for the house drain and for the drain going outside..now, there is no CO ! I wouldn't do such setup as you guys did..
