The History of Launch Complex 39A

This is a video about the history of Launch Complex 39A at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida. The towering structure, now leased by aerospace company SpaceX to launch the Falcon Heavy Lift rocket, helped launch Apollo astronauts to the moon, along with numerous Space Shuttle missions to near earth orbit.

One of my favorite perks of working at SpaceX is having the opportunity to come to 39a when all is quiet. In the really early hours when nobody else is around is so moving. You just feel the history there.
